Summer is drawing to a close, but there is still plenty of opportunity for sun holidays with Cuba now coming off the quarantine list. Other countries such as Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Jamaica have been re-included on the self-quarantine list, while Portugal has been added to the travel corridor list again.

Travelling further afield – Asia, America, Australia and Africa

Long-distance flights are starting to open up with direct flights to the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand now available from various airlines from multiple locations across Europe. Flight to Brazil, as well as many other countries in Central and South America are uncertain as they are currently in the midst of pandemic.

China is reporting very low instance of new cases of Coronavirus, yet remains on alert, as do many other Asian countries. Africa, as yet has not suffered as badly as Europe, but hardest hit countries are Africa’s biggest holiday destinations, Egypt, South Africa and Morocco.

For many countries outside Europe it is just too early to tell when travel will return to normal. Any official announcements will be posted here on this page to keep you up to date with the latest news in long distance travel.
